(1) The annual licence fee shall be $20.

(2) Licences shall be endorsed either "VALID FOR THE ISLAND OF HONG KONG" "VALID FOR KOWLOON AND NEW KOW- LOON", and shall also be endorsed with the date of expiry thereof.

(3) The Secretary shall at the same time as he issues the licence issue to the licensee a list of areus and streels on the Island of Hong Kong or in Kowloon and New Kowloon, as the case may be, in which trad- ing is prohibited by by-law."

may trade in any part of the Island of Hong Kong "Class 5- other than in those areas and streets specified in

(2) Every licensee whose licence is endorsed "VALID FOR KOWLOON AND NEW KOW. LOON" may trade in any part of Kowloon and New Kowloon other than in those areas and strects specified in Part II of Appendix III.

(3) No licensee shall trade in a manner likely to cause any obstruction,

(4) For the avoidance of doubt it is declared- (a) that in any prosecution for a contravention of paragraph (1) or paragraph (2) of this by-law in trading in an area or street specified in Part 1 or Part 11 of Appendix III it shall be unnecessary to prove that paragraph (3) of by-law 2 has been complied with, and

(b) that it shall be no defence to such charge to prove that the provisions of that paragraph have not been complied with,"
