Amend- ment of section 18.

3.

Section 18 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the addition at the end thereof of the following-

"A copy or extract of any such document certified by the Director to be a true copy or extract thereof shall be, in all legal proceedings, civil or criminal, prima facie evidence as to the facts stated therein. Any such copy or extract pur- porting to be certified by the Director shall be deemed, until the contrary is proved, to have been certified by him.**

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as Follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Administration of Short title. Justice (Summary Offences) Ordinance, 1955-

1. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires- Interpre-

tation.

"prescribed fine" means the fine specified in the second column

of the First Schedule;
