An Ordinance to amend the Corporal Punishment Ordinance,

1954.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Corporal Punish- Short title. meat (Amendment) Ordinance, 1955-

2. Subsection (1) of section 4 of the Corporal Punishment Amendment Ordinance, 1954, is amended—

(a) by the deletion from paragraph (b) of the word "sixteen"

and the substitution therefor of the following-

"*seventeen"';

of sub-

section (1) of section 4. (39 of 1864).
