MERCHANT SHIPPING ORDINANCE, 1953.

(Ordinance 14 of 1953).

ÜRDER BY THE GOVERNOR in Council.

The Governor in Council in exercise of his powers under subsection (1) of section 115 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1953, has ordered that the ships specified in the Schedule hereto be until further notice exempted from the provisions of subsection (r) of section 4, and subsection (1) of section 5, of the Ordinance aforesaid: Provided nevertheless that no person shall be per- mitted to act in the capacity of master, mate or engineer for either a specified service or voyage unless he has passed a special examination before the Director of Marine.
