An Ordinance to amend the Midwives Ordinance, Chapter 16a. [22nd January, 1954-1

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Midwives (Amend- Short title. ment) Ordinance, 1954.

Section 4 of the Midwives Ordinance (hereinafter referred Amendment to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the addition after of section 4, (Cap. 182), subsection (3) of the following new subsection-

**(4) Regulations made under this section may contain provision-

(a) requiring as a condition of the admission of any person to the register that that person shall have undergone the prescribed training, and shall possess the prescribed experience in midwifery; and
