70. The amendments specified in the second column of the First Schedule, being amendments of a minor nature, shall be made in the sections of the Radio-Active Minerals Ordinance specified in the first column of that Schedule.
71. (1) The enactments mentioned in the Second Schedule are repealed.
(2) Nothing in this section shall invalidate any prospecting licence, mining licence or mining lease granted under the Pros- pecting and Mining Ordinance, 1906, and in existence at the commencement of this Ordinance; but every such licence and lease shall be subject to the provisions of this Ordinance and of the regulations, in so far as such provisions may be applicable and are not inconsistent with or repugnant to any express provi- sions of the licence or leasc.
