VEHICLE AND Road Traffic (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1953.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Vehicle and Road Traffic Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Road Citation Traffic (Amendment) Regulations, 1953, and shall come into and com- operation on the 1st day of July, 1953.

2. The table contained in sub-regulation (1) of regulation 4 Amendment of the regulations published at page 723 of Volume II of the of sub

regulation Regulations of Hong Kong, 1937 Edition, is amended as follows- (1) of

(a) by the deletion of the amount "$5.00" appearing in the 4 of the second column thereof as the fee for a licence to drive a published

3.

Notwithstanding the provisions of regulation 2, the fee Temporary for a licence to drive a motor vehicle for the period from the provision 1st day of July, 1953, until the 31st day of March, 1954, shall be $7.50, and the date în 1953 upon which a licence to drive a motor vehicle shall be renewable for the said period shall be the 1st day of July.
