An Ordinance to amend the Business Regulation Ordinance, 1952.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Business Regulation Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1953.

2. Section 2 of the Business Regulation Ordinance (berein- Amend- after referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended-

ment of section 2.

(a) by the deletion of the definition of "Director" and by (14 of

the substitution therefor of the following-

1952).

"Director" means the Director of Commerce and Industry and includes any assistant director;"';

(b) by the deletion of the definition of "licensed bank".

3.

Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the Amend- deletion from the first line thereof of the word "Governor' and meat of the substitution therefor of the following-

section 3.

"Director".
