"Dis- ciplinary action in respect of an inspector convicted
of an offence
29A. (1) An inspector convicted of any offence punishable with imprisonment may, unless the convic- tion is reversed on appeal, be dismissed or subjected to a lesser penalty by the Governor.
(a) In the event of an inspector being so con- victed, the Commissioner shall forward to the Governor prisonment. a report containing-

proceedings;
(5) the inspector's record of service; and (c) the Commissioner's recommendations.
(3) The Commissioner shall at the same time as he forwards such report inform the inspector that his case will be considered by the Governor, and the inspector shall have the same right to petition the Governor as is provided for in subsection (3) of section 29.
(4) The Governor's decision upon any reference under subsection (2) shall be communicated to the Commissioner and to the inspector by the Colonial Secretary."
