An Ordinance to amend the Police Force Ordinance, Chapter 233. [12th June, 1953.]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Police Force Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1953.

2. Section 3 of the Police Force Ordinance (hereinafter Amendment referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the deletion of section 9. of the definition "Commissioner" and the substitution therefor (Cap. 232). of the following—

"Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Police of the

Colony or a deputy commissioner;",

3. Section 13 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the Amendment insertion after subsection (1) of the following new subsection-
