REGULATIONS BY THE GOVERNOR in COUNCIL.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Emergency Regulations Ordinance the Governor in Council has made the following regulations

1.

These regulations may be cited as the Emergency Citation. (Exportation) (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Regula tions, 1952, and shall be read as one with the Emergency (G.N.A, (Exportation) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 1951. 76/1951).

2. Regulations 6, 7 and 8 of the principal regulations are Revocation hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note.

The Emergency (Exportation) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regula- tions, 1951 were enacted to remedy certain defects in our exportation law and to give certain additional powera considered necessary in present day conditions. The Importation and Exportation Ordinance, Chapter 50, bas, been amended to give effect to the amendments made by regulations 6, TI and B. It is intended to incorporate regulations 1 to 5 in consolidated importation and exportation regulations now in the course of preparation. The purpose of the present amendment is therefore to revoke regulations 6 to 8 while leaving regulations 1 to 5 temporarily in force.
