PUBLIC HEALTH (SANITATION) ORDINANCE, 1935. (Ordinance No. 15 of 1935).

BY-LAWS MADE BY THE Urban Council under section 4.

In exercise of the power conferred by section 4 of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws-

These by-laws may be cited as the Public Health Citation. (Sanitation) (Amendment) By-laws, 1952, and shall be read as one with the by-laws contained in Schedule A to the Public (16 of Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, under the heading "Cattle, Swine, etc." set forth on pages 183 to 185 of the annual volume of the Ordinances of Hong Kong for the year 1935.

By-law 1 of the principal by-laws is rescinded and Rescission replaced as follows-

1. The Council may issue licences containing the names of the licensees and the addresses of the premises for which they are granted for the keeping of

(a) swine, such licences expiring on the 30th day

of September in each year;

(b) cattle, sheep and goats, such licences expiring

on the 31st day of December in each year: Provided that it shall be a condition of every such licence that it shall remain valid only whilst the premises in respect of which a licence is granted arc lawfully occupied by the licensee."
