DUTIES ON LIQUOR.
Resolved pursuant to section 4 of the Dutiable Commodities "Ordinance (Cap. 109) as follows:
That the DUTIES ON LIQUOR as set forth in the Resolution of the Legislative Council published as Government Notification No. A. 49 in the Gaselle of the 18th March, 1953, be revoked with effect from 2 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, the asth April, 1953, and that thereafter duty shall be payable on liquors at the following rates per gallon :-

Liqueurs and Brandy
PART 1.
Whisky, Gin and other spirituous
liquors....
Champagne and other sparkling
wines
Port, Sherry and Madeira
Other still wines
