DOGS AND CATS ORDINANCE.

(Chapter 167).

Regulations MADE BY THE Governor in COUNCIL.

In exercise of the power conferred by section 3 of the Dogs and Cats Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Dogs and Cats (Amendment) Regulations, 1952, and shall be read as one with the Dogs and Cats Regulations.

2. Regulation 4 of the principal regulations is amended by- (a) the deletion of the comma and words ", whether male or

female" in the second line thereof;

(b) the deletion of the proviso at the end thereof and the

substitution therefor of the following-

"Provided that.........

(i) dogs belonging to Her Majesty's Armed Forces shall be licensed free of charge;

(ii) only half fees shall be charged in the area mentioned in paragraph (a) for dogs which are licensed for the first time during the months of October and November."
