CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ORDINANCE (Chapter 221).
ORDER BY THE CHIEF JUSTICE
In exercise of the power conferred by subsection (2) of section
g of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, the Chief Justice has made the following Order—
1952.
1.
This Order may be cited as the Counsel (Fees) Order, Citation.
2. The fees payable to each counsel in respect of cases Fees. assigned to him by the Chief Justice for each year shall be as follows
(a) for the first case assigned to him, a fee of $300 and a refresher of $200 for each day or part thereof that the case may continue beyond the first day;
(b) for every other case assigned to him, a fee for $750 and a refresher of $250 for each day or part thereof that the case may continue beyond the first day.

For the purposes of this Order "year" shall mean the Interpre- period between the opening of the Assizes in any year and the opening of the Assizes in the subsequent year.
