An Ordinance to regulate the conduct of business in the Colony.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Business Regulation Short title. Ordinance, 1952.

2. In this Ordinance-

"auctioneer", **hawker", "massage establishment", "public pretation.

bowling-alley", "public dance-hall", "public skating rink" have the same meanings as in the Miscellaneous Licences (Cap. 114). Ordinance:

"business" means any form of trade, commerce, craftsmanship, profession, calling or other activity carried on for the purpose of gain, but does not include an office or employment or any charitable undertaking;
