Mental Hospitals Ordinance.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Mental Hospitals Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1953.

2, Section 16 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended Addition by the addition of the following subsection as subsection (5) thereof

of new subsec- tion (5) to section 16

"(5) If any person who has been removed to a mental of Cap. hospital under the provisions of subsection (1) shall in the opinion of the medical practitioner in charge of the mental hospital become of sound mind the Governor may by warrant under his hand direct his discharge either conditionally or,
