An Ordinance to amend the Pensions Ordinance, Chapter 89.

Bs it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited (Amendment) Ordinance, 1952.

the Pensions Short title.

2. Subsection (2) of section 3 of the principal Ordinance Amendment is hereby amended by the deletion of the full-stop appearing at of

the end thereof and the addition of the following-

subsection (2) of section 6

"and any such direction may, irrespective of the wishes of Cap. 89. of the officer concerned, also determine whether a pension so granted shall be awarded in the form of a reduced pension and gratuity."

3. Section 6 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended Amendment by the substitution of a comma for the semi-colon appearing at

paragraph the end of paragraph (b) thereof and the addition of the (b) of following-

section 6 of Cap. 89.
