By His ExCELLENCY SI ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS by Section 2 of the Public Reclamation and Piers Ordinance, No. 20 of 1951, the Director of Public Works was authorized provisionally, and subject to the definitive approval of the Governor in Council, to construct the undertakings des- cribed in the Schedule hereto consisting of the reclamation or other works of a public nature over and upon unleased Crown foreshore and sea bed:

AND WHEREAS Section 5 of the Public Reclamations Validation and Clauses Ordinance, No. 40 of 1936, requires a notification of every such undertaking to be published in every ordinary issue of the Gazette during a period of two months and also by pro- clamation in the Chinese language publicly posted in some suitable place;
