An Ordinance to amend the Registrar General (Establishment)

Ordinance, 1949.

[21st September, 1951.]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof;

1.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Registrar General Short title. (Establishment) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1951.

2. Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is hereby repealed Repeal and replaced as follows-

"Appoint-

(0) The Governor may appoint-

(a) a Registrar General; and

(b) such number of—

(i) deputies under the style of Deputy

Registrar General; and

(ii) assistants under the style of Assistant Registrar.
