23. The Governor in Council may make regulations pres- cribing forms and generally for carrying this Ordinance into effect.

24. Any person who is guilty of an offence against section 7, 14, 15 or 21 shall be liable to a fine of five thousand dollars and to imprisonment for two years.

25. This Ordinance shall come into force on such date as the Governor in Council may notify by proclamation in the

Gaselte.

28. The Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, is hereby repealed.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof;

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Royal Hong Kong Short title. Defence Force Ordinance, 1951.

2. In this Ordinance and in any regulations made here- Inter-

"appointments" includes accoutrements and equipment of every

kind other than clothing;

"Air Force" means the Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force; "bounty" means the bounty payable under subsection (3) of

section 17;
