An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the law relating to the

telephone service in the Colony.

[1st June, 1951]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Telephone Ordin- start title. ance, 1951.

2. In this Ordinance—

"arbitrators" includes an umpire appointed by the arbitrators; "company" means the Hong Kong Telephone Company Limited; "concession" means the sole right to supply telephonic com- munication which is confirmed to the company by section
