SUMMARY OFFENCES ORDINANCE,

1932.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Summary Offences Ordinance, 1932, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations :-

REGULATIONS.

1. These regulations may be cited as the Fireworks (Special Citation, Permits) Regulations, 1950.

2. These regulations apply to special permits and are without Applica- prejudice to and shall not apply to any general permit issued tion. by the Secretary for Chinese Affairs by public notification.

3. (0) The issuing authorities for permits to discharge Issaing fireworks shall be as follows :-

(a) for Hong Kong,

Kowloon and New Kowloon

(b) for those portions of the waters of the Colony which are defined in Table (o) of the Regulations made under the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, No. 10 of 1899

(c) for the New Terri- tories (excluding New Kowloon) and the waters thereof

The District Commissioner,

New Territories.

(2) The issue of a permit shall be at the absolute

discretion of the. issuing authority.

a restaurant, hotel or place of entertainment
