Explanatory Note,

The Schedule amended by this Order incorporated into the law of the Colony the provisions of certain orders and regulations made during the period of the British Mülltary Administration. It has been the policy to repeal such provisions or replace them by enactments of a permanent character, the four items now deleted being the last items so to be dealt with. The Orders and regulations are no longer of utility so far as the first three examples are concerned, and the fourth item has been replaced by by-laws made under the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935.
