VEHICLE AND ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE, 1947.
REGULATIONS BY THE GOVERnor in Council.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Vehicle and Road Traffic Ordinance, 1947, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-
I
REGULATIONS
1. These regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Road Citation. Traffic (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1950, and shall be read as one with the Vehicle and Traffic Regulations, 19ra, set forth in Volume I of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 Edition), hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations.
2. Regulation 89 of the principal regulations is hereby amended by the addition of the following at the end thereof-

"In proceedings under this regulation against a licensee principal for allowing his private vehicle to be used for the purpose of hire, the onus shall be upon the licensee to satisfy the Court that he was not aware and had no reasonable ground for believing that his vehicle was being used for the purpose of hire."
3. Regulation 124 of the principal regulations is hereby Rescission rescinded.

4. Regulation 128 of the principal regulations is hereby Rascimion rescinded and replaced as follows :—
