The Ordinances specified in the first column of Part I

of the Schedule, are upon enactment hereof amended in the manner indicated in the second column thereof.

The Ordinances and Proclamations specified in the first columa of Part II of the Schedule, shall be amended in the manner indicated in the second column thereof or repealed as indicated therein, with effect from such date as the Governor shall notify by proclamation in Gazette.

4. The amendments, and repeals to the Ordinances and be included Proclamations specified in Part I and Part II of the Schedule shall be given effect to in the preparation of the revised edition of the Ordinances, and it is declared that the provisions of section 6 of the Revised Edition of the Laws Ordinance, 1948, shall have effect accordingly.

Section 21 is amended by the repeal of para- graph (b) of subsection (3) and the substitution therefor of the following—

"(b) any person appointed by the Univer

sity of Hong Kong for the purpose of teaching in the pathological department of the faculty of medicine, or in the clinical units of medicine or of surgery or of obstetrics and gynaecology in such faculty, and whose whole time is at the disposal of such University ***

(2) The Schedule is amended-

(a) by the deletion in the fifth column opposite heads 5, 15, 15A, 158, 17, 19, 24, 39, 31A, 38, 39 and 44 of the words "7 days after execution" and the substitution therefor in each case of the following-

"30 days after execution";
