Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof;

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Dogs and Cats Short title.

2. In this Ordinance

"cat" includes the male and female animal of any age; "dog" includes the male and female animal of any age; **New Territories" does not include New Kowloon;
