13. Section 18 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended by inserting immediately before the word "Governor" in sub- section (1) the words **Board with the approval of the".

14. Section 22 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended-

(a) by substituting for the word "registrar" where it occurs in the fourth line of the first proviso to subsection (1) the word "Board";

(b) by substituting for the word "he" in the second line of the second proviso to subsection (1) the words "the Board";

(c) by deleting the word "registrar's" where it occurs in the fourth line of subsection (2):

(d) by substituting for the words "the board" in the fourth line of subsection (4) the words "that body"; and

(e) by substituting for the word "registrar" in the seventh line of subsection (4) the word "Board".

18. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Revised Edition of the Laws Ordinance, 1948, the amendments effected by this Ordinance shall be included in the Revised Edition of Ordinances and the Commissioners shall for such purpose have the same powers and authority as if this Ordinance had been enacted on or before the 1st day of September, 1950.

An Ordinance to make further amendments to miscellaneatis Ordinances for the purpose of facilitating the preparation of the revised edition of the laws.

WHEREAS by the Law Revision (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance, 1950, and the Law Revision (Miscellaneous Amend- ments) (No. 2) Ordinance, 1950, omissions, amendments and additions to the Ordinances of the Colony were enacted for the purpose of preparation of the revised edition:

AND WHEREAS a further number of such omissions, amend- ments and additions have been collected and are now submitted to Legislative Council in manner provided by section 6 of the Revised Edition of the Laws Ordinance, 1948:

Be it therefore enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Law Revision Bhort title. (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 3) Ordinance, 1950.
