Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :

This Ordinance may be cited as the Supreme Court Short title. (Summary Jurisdiction) Amendment Ordinance, 1950, and shall be read as one with the Supreme Court (Summary Jurisdiction) No 1 Ordinance, 1873, hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance. of 1873.

1. The principal Ordinance is hereby amended by the deletion of the words "one thousand dollars" and the substitution therefor of the words "five thousand dollars" wherever they appear in sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 29.
