(d) by an affidavit or statutory declara- tion sworn or made by the attesting witness or some other person in whose presence the sanie were executed, or by some impartial person who knows the signature of the grantor; or

(b) by any other evidence which in the opinion of the Registrar of the Supreme Court is sufficient, or which is hereafter required by any enactment in the case of powers of attorney deposited in the Registry of the Supreme Court,"

(2) Section 76 is repealed and replaced by the

following-

"76. (1) The Governor in Council may make rules for the administration of trust funds.

(2) The rules in the First Schedule shall be in force except so far as they may be rescinded or amended by rules made under this section."

(3) Sections 77, 8 and 94 are amended by the deletion of the expression "Colonial Treasurer Incorporated" wherever it appears in such sections and the substitution therefor of the following-

"Accountant General".

Section 15 is repealed and replaced by the following-

15. The Governor may appoint any building or portion of a building to be a house of detention for the purposes of this

SECOND COLUMN, Detail of amendment or repeal.

Ordinance, and any person to be superin- tendent of such house; in default of such appointment the prisons of the Colony and the prison wards of the Government hos- pitals in the Colony shall be houses of detention and the Commissioner of Prisons shall be the superintendent of the houses of detention."

(1) Section 4 is amended by the deletion of the words "fifty dollars" in the last line of sub- section (1) and the substitution therefor of the following-

"two hundred and fifty dollars".

(2) Section 5 is amended by the deletion of the words "ten dollars" in the last line of paragraph (b) of the proviso to subsection (1) and the substitution therefor of the follow- ing-

"thirty dollars".

(1) Section 7 is amended by the deletion of the words "ten dollars" in the sixth line of para- graph (b) of the proviso to section and the substitution therefor of the following—

"thirty dollars".

(2) Section to is amended by the deletion of the words "fifty dollars" in the last line and the substitution therefor of the following--

"two hundred and fifty dollars".
