The Attorney General to move the following resolution :-

WHEREAS by section 11(1) of the Reglatrulion of United Kingdom Patents Ordinance, 1932, it is provided that the Registrar may muka Rules and do auch things as he may think expedient, sibjoot to the provisions of the Ordinance, for prescribing the procedura under the Ordinance and the fees to be paid in respect of proceedings under the Ordinance ;

AFID THEREAG by the said section 11(1) it is further provided that no such Rules shall come into operation until the same have been approved by the Logislativa Comoil and published in the Cazette ;

AND WHEREAS Rules entitled the Registration of United Kingdom

Patenta (Food) Rules, 1950, dated 12th July, 1950, have boon mado by the Registrar and Laid before Council ;

NOW THEREFORE it is hereby resolved that the acid Rules untitled

the Registration of United Kingdca Patents (Fees) Rules, 1950, bo and are hereby.approved by this Council.

In exeroise of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (3)

of asation 3 of the Parisions Ordinance, 1949, with the scnotion of the Secretary of State ad the prior approval of Logislativo Council siguified by resolution, tha Governor in Council hereby mckes to following regulations :-

REGULATIONS.

1. These regul.tions my be cited as the Government House Stuff (allow.moo) Regulations, 1950, and shall be roud as one with the Pensions Regulations, 1949.

2. The Punaians Regul.tions, 1949, shall apply to Chu Woo, Cheung Eru, Lui Kan, Cheung Yoo, Chung Ping-son, Loe Shu-eum, Fung Kui, Fun Toi, Chou Ti and Wang Ku, nơw or recently employed ut Gaveramant House in 11ko meruer for all purposes as if such persons had during the respective perioda for which they served, prior to the 1st of April, 1949, been monthly grid non-pensionable officers in the survioo of this Colony:

Provided that nothing herein cunt-ined shall render it urineqeSSLIY to obtain the approval of the Governor under section 18 of the Ordinance for the purpose of Apening the service of any of such persons unbroken.
