ORDINANCE No. 13 of 1935
[PUBLIC HEALTH (FOOD)].
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council makes the following by-laws which shall be inserted in the Schedule to the said Ordinance, immediately after the by-laws for Restaurants, Food Canteens, etc. :-

FOR THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF Disease,
1. No person shall sell or offer or expose for sale the Yu Sang, Chinese dishes known as "Yu Sang" (A$) and "Yu Sang Chuk, etc.
Yu Sang Chuk" (A) nor the jellies known as "Leung Fan" (), "Man Tau Lo" (Na) and "Tai Ts'oi Ko" (AMB).

2. Except under and in accordance with a permit issued by Ice-cream, the Council, no person shall sell or offer or expose for sale fruit juice, ice-cream or any frozen or chilled confection or any non-derated drinks in the preparation of which fruit juice or herbs (other than tea) are used.
3. Except under and in accordance with a permit issued by Bivalva The Council, which shall be conditional on production to the mollusc. Council of a certificate of origin and safety from a competent authority approved by the Council, no person shall sell or offer expose for sale any kind of bivalve mollusc, but such permission shall not be necessary in respect of bivalve molluscs contained in sealed tins which have been imported from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States of America or from such other localities as the Council may from time to time approve.
