EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This Note is not part of the above Order, but is intended to indicate ita general purport.)

By the Trading with the Enemy (Custodian) (Amendment) (Japan) (No. 2) Order, 1949, the provisions of sections 16 and 17 of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, cease to apply to money payable to, and property acquired by pereous specified in the Order on or after the date of the said Order in respect of trade se referred to therein. This present Order sanctions transfers and assigoments of choses in action, negotiable instruments and certain securities transferable by delivery which may be made by or on behalf of such persons on or after the date of the Order.
