EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This Note is not part of the Order, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

This Order provides additional Authority to that contained in the Trading with the Enemy (Authorisation) (Japan) Order, 1947, (published in the Gazette on 8th August, 1947, as G.N. No. 631), and the Trading with the Enemy (Authorisation) (Japan) Order, 1949. It authorises applications for the grant of a patent or the registration of a utility model, design or trade mark in Japan and transactions incidental thereto, and subsequent dealings in respect of any such patent granted or any such utility model, design or trade mark registered.
