IMMIGRANTS CONTROL ORDINANCE, 1949.

Regulations by the Governor in Council.

I exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 34 of the Immigrants Control Ordinance, 1949, and of all other powers thereunto him enabling the Governor in Council amends the Immigroots Control Regula- Lions, 1944, published as G.N. No. A.53 in Supplement No. 2 of the Gazette of 18th March, 1949, as follows :--

1. Regulation 2 is rescinded and replaced as follows:-

A. The immigration examination signal shall be signal flags H.N.N. by day; and by night four lights coloured WHITE, RED, WHITE, RED, in a vertical line one over the other equally spaced (uot less than three feet apart) and visible all round the horizon at a distance of at least one mile.

2. There shall be added to Part I of the First Schedule the following place of detention ----
