The following is a copy of Hong Kong University (Medical Degrees) Order in Council, 1840:—

Whereas by the Hong Kong University (Medical Degrees) Order in Council, 1946, there was constituted the University of Hong Kong Medical Degrees Emergency Committee:

And whereas the need for the said Committee having now come to an od, it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked:

Now, therefore, His Majesty, in exercise of all the powers enabling Him in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows-

1. This Order may be cited as the Hong Kong University (Medical Degrees) Order in Council, 1949, and shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by the Governor of Hong Kong by notice published in the Gazelte of the Colony.

2. The Hong Kong University (Modical Degrees) Order in Council, 1945, is hereby revoked, without prejudice to anything lawfully done thereunder.
