An Ordinance to an end the Buildings Ordinance, 1935.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Buildings (Amend- Short vide. meut) Ordinance, 1949, and shall be read as one with the Buildinga Ordinance Ordinance, 1025, hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance. No. rt of

Sub-section (3) of section 5 of the principal Ordinance Amendment is hereby repealed and the following sub-sections as sub-sections of section 5 (3), (4) and (5) are substituted therefor

**(3) If an authorized architect has ceased to practise in the Colony the Governor in Council may by order remove the name of the architect from such list.

(4) If any authorized architect is convicted of a criminal offence or if the Governor in Council in hia sole discretion considers such an architect has been guilty of conduct disgraceful to him in his capacity as an architect, the Governor in Council, may by order-

(a) censure such an architect; or

(5) remove the name of auch an architect from such list and where the name of an architect is removed from such list, be shall, during such period

of the

Ordinance.
