"Power of Governor in Council to make regulations.

19A. The Governor in Council may make such regulations governing the issue of medical certificates of death as he may deem to be necessary or expedient,”

An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding one hundred and seventy-nine million nine hundred and twenty-four thousand three hundred and twelve dollars to the Public Service of the financial year ending 31st March, 1950,

WnBazas the expenditure required for the service of this Colony for the financial year ending on the 31st March, 1950 bas been estimated at the sum of one hundred and seventy-nine million nine hundred and twenty-four thousand three hundred and twelve dollars.

Be it eumeted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice und consent of the Legislative Council thereof;

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Appropriation for short ütle, 1949-1950 Ordinance, 1949,

revenues.

2. A sau not exceeding one hundred and seventy-nine Appropria million nine hundred and twenty-four thousand three hundred and don brom twelve dollars aball be and the same is hereby charged upon the general revenue and other funds of the Colony for the service of the financial year commencing on the 1st of April, 1949 and ending on the 31st of March, 1950 and the said sum so charged may be expended in the manner expressed in the Schedule to this Ordinance-
