Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Landlord and Tenant Short title, (Amendment) Ordinance, 1949.

2. In this Ordinance--

Inter- pretation.

"principal Ordinance" means the Landlord and Tenant Ordinance Ordinance, 1947 -

No. 25 of

1947.

3. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended Amendment by the insertion of the following additional sub-section after of section sub-section (3):

principal Ordinance.
