Amendment

3. Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended of section 7 by the insertion immediately after paragraph (d) thereof of the principal following paragraph as paragraph (e) :-

"() any person who shall, by reason of his professional qualifications, experience and skill, satisfy the Board that he is a fit person to be registered under this Ordinance; Provided that every person applying for registration under this paragraph shall furnish such evidence of good character as shall satisfy the Board."

An Ordinance to authorize the appropriation of a supple- mentary sum of thirty-four million six hundred and fifty-four thousand two hundred and fifty-one dollars to defray the charges of the financial year ending 3181 March, 1948.

WHEREAS it has become necessary to make further provision for the public service of the Colony for the financial year ending 31st March, 1948, in addition to the charge upon the revenue of the Colony for the service of the said financial year alrendy provided for.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legistative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Supplementary Short Appropriation for 1947-48 Ordinance, 1949.
