Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is bereby amended- (a) by the repeal in sub-section (1), of paragraph (xx) and by the substitution of the following therefor:-
"(xx) the construction, licensing, regulation and proper sanitary maintenance of public baths, public and private swimming baths and swimming pools, laundries, dry- cleaning establishments and wash-houses;***
(b) by the repeal of sub-section (2) and by the substitution
of the following sub-section therefor:

The Inspectors and such other subordinate officers as may be appointed by the Governor under section 9 of the Urban Conncil Ordinpace, 1966, shall, for the purposes of this Ordinace, be grouped under the health officers who will be under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Health Services: Provided that the Governor may appoint malarial inspectors or inspectors for other special purposes, who shall have the powers of officers of the Sanitary Depart- ment under this Ordinance but shall be grouped under the Malariologist, or such other officer as the Governor may direct, under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Health Services.'
5. Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended of section 7 by the substitution of the words " Deputy Director of Health
Services" for the words "Director of Medical Services second line thereof.
