An Ordinance to amend and consolidate the law relating to exhibitions, publications and advertisements of an indecent, obscene, revolting or offensive nature,

[20th May, 1949.]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Indecent Exhibitions short title.

and Obscene Publications Consolidation Ordinance, 1949.

2. The Indecent Exhibitions Ordinance, 1918, is hereby Amendment amended by-

of sections 5

and (r)

(a) substituting in section 5 thereof the words "five of Ordinance thousand dollars or to imprisonment for any term not exceeding No. 3 of six months for the words If two hundred and fifty dollars 1915. imprisonment for any term not exceeding three months "
