(6) The master of any vessel licensed to carry passengere shall not have on board thereof a greater number of passengers than the number allowed by the complement. licence; and if he does so he shall be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars and also an additional fine not exceeding twenty five dollars for every passenger above the number so allowed and to imprisonment for any term not exceeding six months.

Sailing junk not carrying lights to be deered in fault for

collision.

(7) If in any action brought in respect of a collision occurring between sunset and sunrise, in or outside the waters of the Colony, between a junk and any other vessel whatsoever, it is proved that such junk did not carry either the lights prescribed for sailing vessels by the International Collision Regulations, or the lights prescribed for junks by sub-sections (1) or (2) respectively of section 25, then such junk shall be deemed to be in fault, unless it is shown to the satia- faction of the court that the circumstances of the case made the omission to carry such lights necessary: Provided that the word "vessal" in this sub-section shall not be limited by the definition of vessel in sub-section (1).

12. Sub-section (1) of section 43 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended by the repeal of the words Examination Board or ** in the third line thereof.
