An Ordinance to control the sale and supply of penicillin and

certain other substances.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1848.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Penicillin Ordinance, short dife.

2. In this Ordinance, unless the contest otherwise requires, Interpretation. the following expressions shall have the meanings hereby respec-

tively assigned to them, that is to say—

** authorised seller of poisons" has the meaning assigned to it by the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance, 1997;

penicillin has the meaning assigned to it by the 1937. regulations in the Schedule to this Ordinance;

"registered dentist " means a person' registered in the dentista register under the Dentista Ordinance, 1940;

registered pharmacist means a person registered in the register of pharmaceutical chemists or the register of chemists and druggiats under the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance, 1937; Ordinace No,, B of

sale by way of wholesale dealing means sale to a person who buys for the purpose of selling again;
