An Ordinance to amend the Companies (Re-construction of

Rocords) Ordinance, 1947,

Is it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:

1. This Ordinance may be cited 源回 the Companies Short vide. (Re-construction of Records) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1945, and Ahall be read as one with the Companies (Re-construction of Ordinance Records) Ordinance, 1947, bereinafter referred to as the principal No. 40 of Ordinance,

1947.

2. Sub-section (2) of section 11 of the principal Ordinance Amendment is hereby amended by the deletion of the words within six of section months from the commencement of this Ordinance" appearing in 11(2) the second and third lines thereof and by the substitution therefor principal of the following-

**within aix months from the commencement of this Ordinanco or such extended period as the registrar of companies may allow

3. Sub-section (1) of section 12 of the principal Ordinance Amendment is hereby amended by the deletion of the words within three of section months from the commencement of this Ordinance" appearing in 121) the third and fourth lines thereof and by the substitution therefor principal of the following—
