An Ordinance to amend the Jandlord and Tenant Ordinance, 1947.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice. and consent of the Legislative Council therent, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Landlord and Tenant Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1948, and shall be read as one with the Landlord and Tenant Ordinance, 1047, bereinafter referred to as crdinance the principal Ordinance.

2. Paragraph (n) of section 2 of the principal Ordinance Amendment is hereby amended by deleting the full stop after the word section a(n)

sub-tenant in line two thereof and by adding immediately of the after such word the words and includes algo

3. Sub-section (1) of section 3 of the principal Ordinance Amendment ia horeby amended-

(i) by deleting the words "* apply to every premises except ** in lines one and two thereof and by substituting therefor the words not apply to **.
