An Ordinance to amend the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance,
1936.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows y
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Defences (Firing short side. Areas) Amendment Ordinance, 1948, and shall be read as nde with the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1996, hereinafter Ordinance referred to as the principal Ordinance.

Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended Amendment by the addition of the following definitions at the end thereof ---- of vection a
Commander, Kowloon Area

3. Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance of the practice firing may take place from any gun site over principal all or any of the Firing Areas described in the First Ordinance. Schedule: Provided that when any vessel or aircraft is within danger in or over any such Firing Area, all firing within or over that area shall cease.
