An Ordinance to amend the Protected Places (Safety)

Ordinance, 1946.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Protected Places Short title. (Safely) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1947, and shall be read

aa one with the Protected Places (Safety) Ordinance, 1946, Ordinance hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance.

Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is hereby Amand- amended by the repeal of the definition of the term "Protected mens of pection 2 Place" appearing therein and by the substitution therefor of at th the following definition :-

"means any premises declared by an order of the Governor made under this section to be a protected place for the purposes of this Ordinance".

3. Section of the principal Ordinance is hereby Amand amended by the deletion of sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (b) on 4 of sub-section (1) thereof and the substitution therefor of the of the following sub-paragraph :---
