An Ordinance to amend the Larceny Ordinance, 1935.
[1st August, 1947.]
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Larceny Amendment Ordinance, 1947, and shall be read as oue with the Larceny Ordinance, 1985, hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance.
Short title,
Ordination No. 32 at 1035.
2. Section 46 of the principal Ordinance is hereby Andmen amended by the insertion of the following sub-section as sub- section (14) immediately after sub-section (1) thereof :-
"(14) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 6 of the Misdemeanours Punishment Ordinance, 1898, any person who~
(i) conspires, confederates or agrees to commit an offence punishable by virtue of sub-section (1) of this section; or
(ii) attempts to commit an offence punishable by virtue of sub-section (1) of this section;
shall be guilty of felony and on conviction thereof liable to imprisonment for axiy terma not exceeding ten years."
