An Ordinance to amend the Public Health (Sanitation)

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the

advice and consent of the Tegislative Council thereof, as

follows:-

I. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Health Shart viels

(Sanitation) Amendment Ordinance, 1947,

2. The following paragraph is substituted for paragraph

(xxiv) of section 4(1) of the Public Health (Sanitation)

Ordinance, 1985:--

(xxiv) the reception, housing, treatment, burying,

disposal und exhumation of the bodies of the dead,

the licensing, regulation, control and proper sanitary main-

tenance of any premises used for any of the foregoing purposes

and the fees to be charged and the keeping of registers in

connection therewith."

day of February, 1947.
